What can I say? I’ve lived in a small town beside Donaghmore all of my life – we took the workhouse for granted. I’ve never actually been into it sad though I am to admit. On the net, they call it a Famine workhouse *but* it was built in 1853 after the ig famine that most know about. It doesn’t need to be called a ‘famine’ workhouse, it was one of the saddest places in Ireland
