Ballycurrany Gravestones, Co. Cork, Ireland.

The information on the stones in this graveyard were transcribed by Mr. Henchion and published in 1974. The is the reference:

Henchion, R. (1978): Ballycurrany. The Gravestone Inscriptions of Co. Cork - XII. - The Journal of the Cork Archaeological and Historical Society, No. 238

Ballycurrany is found less than five miles N.W. of Middleton, close to Ballyedmond and Ballynaclashy

With this reference, you can go to your local library and enquire as to whether or not they take part in an inter-libary loan scheme and apply for this paper should you see a name that is of interest to you on these tables.

In those cases where I have listed n.d beside the name then this was usually the person who erected the stone. Where two surnames are listed then one of those was given as the maiden name of the woman.
