A Methodist Church, a Presbyterian Church, an Orange Hall, a Shirt Factory and a Billiard Hall were on Albertbridge Road, Mount Pottinger National School was also on Albertbridge Road, also a Pawn Office. There wasBone Manure ?Manufactory on Short Strand also a Carrier's Yard. A School, a Rope Works, and a Field Works, a Builder's Yard on Madrid street, a Cooper's Yardand a Forge, a Cart & Lorry Works on Baltic street. Mount Pottinger Road had a Dairy, an Iron Foundry, a Plasterer's Yard, a Manure & Felt Works, a Soap Works, an R.I.C. Barrack's, a Y.M.C.A (Young Men's Catholic Association) Hall and a Pawnbrokers Shop. There was an Independent Church on Thompson street. A Salvation Army Hall was to be found on Lisbon street
