These names are sorted alphabetically, where a maiden name was given then this is indicated by a / between two surnames. For each stone number there may be a few names, these were on one stone, whether the person who erected the stone or the person for whom the stone was erected.
Usually when there are two stones close to one another with the same surname on them then the people on these stones were related to one another. That, however, is not to say that stones which carry the same surname and are some distance apart are people who were unrelated.
Some stones have more than one surname on them and in those cases the name has moved to it's place in alphabetical order, so please read through the whole list.
