Grangekilreee Civil Parish, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland

GRANGE-KILREE, a parish, in the barony of SHILLELOGHER, county of KILKENNY, and province of LEINSTER, 5 miles (S.) from Kilkenny city, on the road to West Jerpoint; containing 145 inhabitants and 1052 statute acres.

It is a rectory and vicarage, in the diocese of Ossory, forming part of the union of Burnchurch : the tithes amount to £114.

In the Roman Catholic divisions it is part of the union or district of Donemagan.
