Kilmodumoge Civil Parish, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland

KILMODUMOGE, a. parish, in the barony of FASSADINING, county of KILKENNY, and province of LEINSTER, 5¼ miles (S. by W.) from Castlecomer ; containing 985 inhabitants.

It is a rectory and vicarage, in to the diocese of Ossory, forming part of the union of Mothell ; the tithes amount to £157. 14s.

In the Roman Catholic divisions it is part of the union or district of Muckalee.

About 30 children are educated in a private school.
