Coolkerry old graveyard, County Laois or Queen's Co. Gravestones

Name & Year index

Coolkerry Civil Parish -

When this graveyard was visited it was almost totally overgrown even though there had been a recent burial at the time. It has since been cleaned up and will be re-visited. The graveyard is close to the town of Rathdowney and some of the names here are to be found in the Griffiths Primary Valuation for Bordwell Civil parish. The addresses given on these stones are for Aughmacart and Rathdowney.

These stones were transcribed by Jane Lyons in 1998

Coolkerry Civil Parish (Co. Laois) belongs to the Civil Registration Districts of Abbeyleix and Donaghmore for the purpose of Birth, Marriage, Death & Census records.
