Aghmacart

Aghmacart or Aughmacart in County Laois is another parish which borders on County Kilkenny. It lies between Durrow and Johnstown, and takes in Cullohill. There was a castle a chapel and a graveyard in Cullohill. The Priory of Aghmacart is on the road to Rathdowney.
