Bordwell is a small civil parish with no real village or town in it. It's a few miles from Rathdowney town and whilst it once was part of the Roman Catholic Parish of Aghaboe, it is now part of the Roman Catholic parish of Clough. Clough village is located in Park townland in Aghaboe civil parish
