CORBALLY, a parish, in the barony of BARRETS, county of CORK, and province of MUNSTER, 5¼ miles (S. W,) from Cork city.
It is situated on the road from Cork to Bandon, and is a rectory, in the diocese of Cork, two third parts of which are appropriate to the vicars choral of the cathedral of St, Finbarr, Cork, the remaining third forming part of the union of Carrigrohane and of the corps of the precentorship of Cork. The tithes amount to £70, of which £46. 13s. 4d., is payable to the vicars choral, and £23. 6s. 8d. to the precentor.
