CULLINSTOWN, a parish, in the barony of SKREEN, county of MEATH, and province of LEINSTER, 4 miles (S.) from Duleek; containing 298 inhabitants.
This parish is situated on the confines of the county of Dublin, near the great north road from Dublin to Belfast (Co. Antrim), by Ashbourne.
It is a rectory, in the diocese of Meath, entirely impropriate, and annexed to the union of Duleek.
In the R C division's also it forms part of the union or district of Duleek.
There is a hedge school, aided by local subscriptions, in which are about children.
