CRINKLE, a village, in the parish of BIRR, barony of BALLYBRITT, KING'S county, and province of LEINSTER; containing 86 houses and 531 inhabitants.

It immediately adjoins the post-town of Parsonstown (Birr), and is situated on the road thence to Roscrea (Co. Tipperary).
