First Line Name of Poem
A man there came, whence none could tell
A Nation's voice, a nation's voice
Adieu to Belashanny! where I was bred and born
Am I remembered in Erin?
As down by Banna's Banks I strayed, one evening in May
Cold in the earth - and the deep snow above thee
Did they dare, did they dare, to slay Eoghan Ruadh O'Neill?
Do you remember long ago Kathleen?
Doleful was the land
Down on the shore, on the sunny shore!
Far from the churchyard dig his grave
Four ducks on a pond
From our hidden path
Good-bye, good-bye to Summer
Gray, gray is Abbey Asaroe, by Belashanny town
He toiled to make our story stand
I heard the dogs howl in the moonlight night
I know not whether laws be right
I will go down amongst the people/Raghaidh me sios....
In Bodenstown churchyard there is a green grave
In early morning twilight, raw and chill
In the old marble town of Kilkenny
In years to come when I am grown
Joining Sir Ulick’s at the river’s bend
Little Cowboy, what have you heard
O pale green sea
October - and the skies are cool and gray
On Carrigdhoun the heath is brown
Pluck not the wayside flower
Raghaidh me sios i measc na daoine/I will go down amongst....
Remember, Denis, all I bade you say
See how a Seed, which Autumn flung down
Shall they bury me in the deep
She is a rich and rare land
That day I scored the winning goal!
The Boy from his bedroom-window
The Geraldines, The Geraldines! - 'tis full a thousand years
These Little Songs
Up the airy mountain
We are the music makers
When boyhood's fire was in my blood
