St. Colman’s Cathedral, Church of Ireland,
Cloyne,
Co. Cork.
Ireland.

Lewis Topographical Dictionary of Ireland (1837) tells us “CLOYNE, a market and post-town, a parish, and the seat of a diocese, in the barony of IMOKILLY, county of CORK, and province of MUNSTER, 14 miles (E. by S.) from Cork, and 126 (S. W. by S.) from Dublin, on the road from Midleton to the sea; containing 6410 inhabitants, of which number, 2227 are in the town. ”

These photographs were taken July 2014. I have left some photographs in which will show you the condition of the graveyardon the day I was there. The weeds had been sprayed in the week before so things will improve. Also, I am leaving in a few photographs which seem to show the base of some building around and in which are headstones.
