St.
Mary's R.C. Church,
Ballymagarret, Co. Wexford
Ireland
The information
on the memorials in this church were transcribed by Brian Cantwell in
September 1979. He did not transcribe the graveyard at that time, but
mentioned that the burials appeared to be of twentieth century date.
Suggestions
as to first name abbreviations for any index:
Margt = Margaret : Jams = James : Patk/Pat/Patt = Patrick : Alex = Alexander

All variations
of any surname as regards spelling have been included - where a surname
is spelled differently on the same stone, then this is indexed as 'see
X' - when there is more than one surname on any stone this is indexed
in the same manner.
Mr. Cantwell
transcribed stones that had pre 1880 years on them, plus any other stones
standing beside these pre 1880 stones with the same surname and a later
year. He transcribed stones that were legible and so for any graveyard
there may be more stones that have not been transcribed. Memorials in
churches were also transcribed and those names are included in these
indices
