  Athleague (Fuerty) Marriages 1827

This is an index of the names of the people who were married in the Roman Catholic parish of Athleague (Fuerty) during the year 1827.  The following table of marriages is transcribed from Microfilm No. 4613 held online by the National Library of Ireland accessible through their Roman Catholic Parish Register Search page.   All names and surnames given here are as I read them.  The first names are given in a mix of English and Latin with the Latin names sometimes being shortened.

Latin Names in English

My list is sorted by the surname of the groom.  Question marks indicate letters or words I had a problem reading.  The letters ‘sic’ indicate that is how I read the letters I have typed.
[ ] indicates that the letters within the brackets are my best guess at what the letters might be. n.g=not given. For the marriage surname Hoghy given here one of the witnesses had their surname spelled Hoghly.  Also for Brigida Ceavon there was a witness whose surname was spelled Craven.

Townlands are not given.
