Back in 2013 a house was being thatched in Laois and it was interesting to see and to catch the progress with my camera.  These photographs may make it look like this was a job done in one fell swoop but it was not. The photographs are dated 29th May 2013 to 17th August 2015.  Thatching is not a quick and easy job. I hope these photographs show you something of the work that is involved in thatching a house.
